"Houston County Schools are continuing to follow all guidance and protocols provided by the local health department regarding the Ashford water station.

As a precaution, water fountains on our campuses have been temporarily covered. Our cafeterias are operating normally and safely, and regular meal service continues without interruption.

We are grateful for the strong support of our community during this time. Coca-Cola and MidSouth Bank have generously donated bottled water for our students, and Farley Nuclear Plant (Southern Nuclear) has provided cups to help support our schools.

We appreciate everyone’s patience and cooperation as we continue working to ensure the safety and well-being of our students and staff. Updates will be shared if additional information becomes available."
